Sally Gordon has been a Winifred West School’s Company Member for fifty years. Sally is a passionate supporter of the arts and Sturt in particular. She obtained a Certificate of Ceramics from East Sydney Tech. She was the first Student Representative on the Craft Council and in 1973 received funding to build a catenary arch kiln fired entirely by reused sump oil. She taught ceramics at Orange TAFE and exhibited and sold her work in the Orange district.
