Liz Williamson has a Master of Fine Art from the College of Fine Arts, University of New South Wales (UNSW), is a renowned weaver and academic who now holds the position of Honorary Associate Professor, School of Art & Design, UNSW. In 2007, Liz was selected for the prestigious Living Treasures: Masters of Australian Craft award by Object Gallery in collaboration with Craft Australia and the Australian Craft and Design Centres for her contribution to the sector. Her collaborative project and exhibition Weaving Eucalypts Project, first shown in 2021, is touring regional galleries to 2024. She is currently President, World Craft Council Australia board.
